For the Mellors, the Christmas season starts with a trip to Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo.  Lucky for us, we’re able to do this in conjunction with a sales event John does for Adobe and I get to tag along.  This year was as good as ever.  Our favorite part is when they ride out on a beautiful horse with the American flag and have a celebrity sing the national anthem.  It’s one of those “proud to be an American” moments.

As far as the rodeo finals, there were a couple cowboys from Utah that were in the running for national titles and we were cheering them on like crazy.  Kaycee Feild (yes, that’s how you spell his name) from Utah won the national title for the bareback competition and he came in second for overall.  Way to represent!  These cowboys are amazing and we have such respect for what this sport means – John says he still wants to be a cowboy when he grows up.  God bless America!
