Winter 2017

Winter is always magical and incredibly long in Park City.  Waking up to a shimmering, white panoramic with blue sky and a bright sun kind of makes it feel like a fairytale… until you step outside and realize it’s 5 degrees (or less).  John loves the snow because it gives him a reason to get on his tractor in the winter – blowing and plowing and more blowing and plowing.  This year, there was plenty of snow to get some good tractor time in – we had one week with over 4 feet!  We tried to make the most of those cold, beautiful days.  The kids were mesmerized with the deep snow and obviously love to eat it.  Johnny enjoyed all of the tractor time.  There was some ice skating and a few statuesque snowmen, but mostly we loved the pretty awesome ski days.  Charlotte had a great first season of ski school which gave John and I the opportunity to get in some runs on our own.  Johnny was able to join the family skiing a couple times toward the end of the season.  It was a little dream come true for me to have all four of us on the mountain, even with a meltdown here and there.  We’re definitely excited for more winters to come in beautiful Park City.

p.s.  We’re constantly working on Prissy’s cover photo op.
