‘Tis the season to be grateful. What a wonderful time of year to reflect and share with others. This year, we have so much to be grateful for with the birth of our first child and all the health and happiness we’ve been able to enjoy. As a new father, John may feel a little protective of “his girls” which was sort of our inspiration for this year’s Christmas card. I’m so happy John is fulfilling his duties but once Charlotte turns 16, I might need someone to help him loosen his grip.
We love this time of year and love being able to create something to share with others. It is all the more special with the addition of Charlotte to our family. We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and let us know if you’ve spotted any unruly elves or reindeer. John is definitely on the lookout around our place. We have a few other shots we wanted to share below. Until next year…
Thank you Phillip, at Manicproject, for bringing our idea to life… and for a really fun afternoon.
WHAT A HAPPY WAY TO START MY DAY!!!! I LOVE YOUR POSTS. I HAVE SHOWN YOUR CARD TO MANY OF MY FRIENDS AND IT HAS BEEN INTERESTING TO HEAR THEIR COMMENTS: “I DON’T GET IT” HAS BEEN THE MOST COMMON COMMENT. KNOWING JOHN, I KNEW IMMEDIATELY IT WAS “DON’T MESS WITH THE JOHN MELLOR FAMILY” – HA!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR THOUGHTS – YOU ARE ALL WORTH “PROTECTING” AND I LOVE YOU – BARBARA
