Dear Rosemary Beach, thank you for an amazing family vacation!
We loved everything about this adorable southern town from its sugar-white beaches to its fantastic restaurants to all the cute little families trying to do the same thing as us – relax and connect. John mentioned several times that this place felt like we were on the set of The Truman Show. Come to find out the film was shot just a few miles from where we were. It was a wonderful place to soak in some southern charm. The only downside was the tropical storm that rolled in and dumped more rain in 5 days than Utah sees in a year, seriously. Charlotte didn’t care a bit. She loved walking in the rain, building sandcastles, and getting mermaid lessons from her mom (when the double red flags weren’t out of course).
The 4th of July looked a bit different than we had pictured but it was wonderful nonetheless. All in all, I’ll take any opportunity to have seven days away as a family come RAIN or shine. We are definitely going to give Rosemary Beach another chance. We all needed a few more sand castles, beach cruising, oh and a tan y’all.
Thanks SO much for all those WONDERFUL pictures – I was finally able to get on your blog. Charlotte is one happy little girl and SO beautiful and healthy – I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. GRANDMA B
